Earlier this year, the Association of Directors of Social Services Cymru produced practice guidance to help the sector understand the link between the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010 and the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. You can find the guidance here.
The purpose of this workshop is to share learning and practice around the link between the two pieces of legislation, particularly around integrated assessments and care planning.
This workshop is aimed at mental health managers and practitioners working in social care, health or integrated care settings.
You will be able to:
- explore progress on the practical delivery of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and the link with related mental health legislation, including the integrated assessment process
- identify areas that are proving to be more challenging and any barriers to delivery
- consider solutions to these challenges or barriers.
We ask anyone attending to prepare in advance any particular issues they are facing or solutions they have developed for the group discussions.
