Registered social care managers forums 2018

13 - 28 June 2018
All Wales
Social Care Wales

We hold annual forums for registered social care managers. They are an excellent opportunity for you to:

  • hear about the latest developments in social care – qualifications, induction framework and values-based recruitment
  • network and share information and ideas
  • discuss current issues and feed into the development of future work, including practice guidance.

These are your forums – your opportunity to learn, keep up-to-date with new developments, share practice and connect with others. They can also contribute to your post-registration training and learning. We provide this opportunity to support you in your role as registered managers.

What managers said

Last year, 325 registered managers attended the forums across Wales. These are some of their comments:

“A very engaging and passionate workshop, and it was great to hear success stories and be reassured that outcomes and success can be small things”

“Brilliant day – well worth attending – current topics and excellent speakers”

“Talking with other managers has motivated me to try the different approaches”

“Professional open discussion – problem shared, problem halved”

“Excellent, creative discussions. Very positive views about how we can achieve a different type of training”
