This resource provides a set of principles to guide your work in managing your own professional boundaries and those of the workers who you manage
The intention of this resource is to encourage reflection and development. It is not regulatory guidance.
Scenarios have been included to help you to discuss and explore some of the issues which might arise, and how the principles could apply.
They can be used to develop your own practice and to support workers through:
- induction
- ongoing support and
- supervision.
We have also included unacceptable practices where professional boundaries are clearly crossed.
