National Safeguarding Week begins on Monday, 13 November 2017. During the week, there will be events for the public and professionals to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk.
The week kicks off with a free conference on 13 November about Safeguarding in Sport hosted by the National Independent Safeguarding Board and the Welsh Government. The day will look at how to promote sport and physical activities while making sure those taking part are safe. It will also underline the role of preventing harm and abuse, and include talks and networking opportunities. Find out more on the National Independent Safeguarding Board website.
