SCWonline is our secure online portal which you can use to communicate with us. It can be used on a PC, tablet or smartphone. It’s used by applicants, registered persons, signatories, CIW Inspectors and Board members.

SCWonline is now available for domiciliary care workers and others to submit an application to register, following recent IT updates.

If you are on the Register and already use SCWonline, you will have received an e-mail with instructions on how to access your account.

We are still making some improvements and some areas may not work as expected.   We appreciate your patience whilst the system is being upgraded.


If you are not registered 

You can:

  • apply online
  • choose the person to endorse your online application
  • pay your fee
  • set up a Direct Debit
  • upload a document such as your verified qualification certificate.

If you are registered 

You will have received an e-mail with instructions on how to access your account.

You can:

  • update your information such as changing address or job details
  • apply to renew your registration
  • pay your fee
  • set up a Direct Debit
  • keep an online record of your post registration training and learning (PRTL)
  • make a declaration about your criminal or disciplinary record
  • tell us about any changes to your health which affects your ability to work.

Signatories and Higher Education Contacts

You can:

  • view and export a list of people registered at your organisation or university
  • endorse online applications to register or renew
  • notify changes to your signatories or organisation
  • tell us about any changes or concerns securely
