The induction framework workbook for section 6: Safeguarding individuals will help new workers to explore their role in safeguarding adults, children and young people from harm, abuse and neglect. A new worker will need to understand and be able to recognise the different types of abuse and neglect that can occur. A new worker will also need to know what to do if you think abuse or neglect is taking place and how to work in ways which protect individuals from harm. It will be important that they complete this workbook after or alongside awareness training on safeguarding individuals
