We’re pleased to announce that we’re hosting our national early years and childcare conference again this year, taking place on Wednesday 23 September, at the Swansea.com Stadium in Swansea.
The conference is free to attend and is open to anyone with an interest in early years and childcare.
Join us to hear from national early years experts, as well as practitioners from settings who will share how theory is translated into real-life practice. The day will offer valuable opportunities for professional learning, reflection and networking.
What we’ll cover:
- Anti-discriminatory practice – we’ll explore how anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practice can be embedded in early years settings, including listening to lived experiences, reflective practice, partnership working and the challenges of creating meaningful, sustained change.
- Leadership and management – we’ll look at what effective leadership looks like in the sector and how it’s demonstrated in practice, including the positive impact on staff retention and well-being.
- Introduction to the NEST framework - supporting the mental health and well-being of babies, children and young people.
- Well-being – valuing and empowering staff and children and creating positive environments where everyone feels happy, safe and secure.
We hope to see you at the conference!
