From paper to meaningful practice, this mini series explores how to support well-being at work through policy. Join us for all four sessions or just one to consider the importance and relevance of workplace policy when it comes to well-being at work.
Who this series is for
These sessions are for managers, team leaders and anyone responsible for developing or updating workplace policies across the social care and childcare, play and early years sectors.
What we’ll cover
Every part of our working life effects our well-being, including the environment in which we work, how we feel about our work, the organisation and the people we work with.
Workplace policies describe what is expected from everyone who works for an organisation. They play an important role in keeping people safe and supported in work.
But, policies need to be written in the right way as well as implemented and communicated effectively.
These sessions are a great opportunity to:
- take some time to think about the content of your organisation’s policies
- hear suggestions and advice about how your policies can be changed to better support well-being in your workplace
- share ideas on how policy can be brought to life to be effective and meaningful
- connect with other managers and team leaders to share ideas and practice.
