Here's a list of upcoming events for learning providers, employers and managers who want to support staff with their health and social care qualifications.

We're hosting:

  • workshops for learning providers who support learners on the L2 and L3 health and social care qualifications
  • workshops for employers and managers who support workers to achieve their qualifications.
Workshops for learning providers

These workshops support the continuing professional development (CPD) of learning providers supporting the children’s care, play, learning and development (CCPLD) and health and social care (HSC) qualifications.

  • Compassionate Leadership: Thursday 27 June, 10am to 11.30am, online.
  • Supporting neurodiverse learners: Thursday 18 July, 10am to 12pm, online.
  • Supporting neurodiverse learners: Thursday 3 October, 2pm to 4pm, online.
  • Workforce well-being: Tuesday 16 July, 10am to 11.30am, online.
  • Best Practice Network (children and young people): Wednesday 10 July, 10am to 3pm, The Hafren, Llanidloes Road, Newtown, Powys, SY16 4HU.

Workshops for employers and managers

Helping employers and managers to support their workers achieve their qualifications

These workshops are for managers and employers of social care settings who support workers to achieve their All Wales induction framework and their Level 2 and 3 health and social care qualifications.

  • Thursday 26 September, Orbit Centre, Merthyr, south Wales.
  • Thursday 21 November, 1.30pm to 4.30pm, online.
  • Tuesday 11 February 2025, 9.30am to 12.30pm, online.
  • Thursday 13 March 2025, 9.30am to 12.30pm, online.

These workshops are for employers and managers who support their workforce to achieve their All Wales induction framework (AWIF) for social care managers and their Level 4 and 5 health and social care qualifications.

  • Tuesday 18 June, Optic Centre, Merthyr, south Wales.
  • Tuesday 9 July, Orbit, St Asaph, north Wales.
  • Wednesday 23 October, 9.30am to 12.30pm, online.
  • Thursday 5 December, 1.30pm to 4.30pm, online.
  • Tuesday 21 January, 9.30am to 12.30pm, online.
