A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat on 6-9 September has found proved the allegations that Samantha Gould whilst working as a Domiciliary care worker:
• Failed to self-isolate when required to do so in line with Corona Virus government advice
• Attended the home(s) of unknown service users when she was required to self-isolate
• Falsely advised that care calls for service users had been completed when she had not completed them
• Did not disclose to the employer that she has been referred to Social Care Wales
• Informed Social Care Wales that she had told her new employer about Social Care Wales' investigation when this was not correct.
The Panel found Samantha Gould’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a removal order which means she cannot work in any regulated social care role in Wales.
Samantha Gould has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
