Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel has found an allegation of serious safeguarding concerns found proved against Anthony Mark Miller’s conduct, a registered domiciliary care worker. On 15 November 2022, at Cardiff Magistrates Court, Mr Miller was convicted, by his own admission, of the following offence: Adult attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child.

The Panel found Mr Miller’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means he will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Mr Miller’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed from the Register.

Mr Miller has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
