Fitness to Practise Panel

Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat remotely on 22 – 30 April 2021, has found allegations proved that Claire Sheppeck, a registered adult care home manager, failed to ensure two care homes were run with sufficient care, competence and skill in a way that protected, promoted and maintained the safety and well-being of individuals.

The Panel found Claire Sheppeck’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales.

Claire Sheppeck has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.

A copy of the panel’s full reasons are available on request.
