A Fitness to Practise Panel has found serious safeguarding concerns around behaving dishonestly with Users of Care & Support for monetary gain, proved against Shaun Anthony McGowan, a domiciliary care worker.
The Panel found Mr McGowan’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a removal order which means he will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Mr McGowan’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed from the Register.
Mr McGowan has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
