A Fitness to Practise Panel has found the allegations of a conviction for driving over the legal alcohol limit and attendance at work when unfit to do so by reason of consumption of alcohol proved against Sophie Griffiths, a registered domiciliary care worker.
The Panel found Ms Griffiths’ current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Ms Griffiths’ name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed from the Register.
Ms Griffiths has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
