Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat remotely on 6th May 2021, has found allegations of consuming alcohol belonging to a service user and behaving in an unhygienic manner in their home proved against Sophie Williams, a registered domiciliary care worker.

The Panel found Ms Williams’ current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales.

Ms Williams has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
