A Fitness to Practise Panel has found the following allegations proved against Stacey Smith, a registered domiciliary care worker.
On more than one occasion between January and June 2021 Ms Smith;
Took money belonging to Individual A without permission.
Did not maintain any/adequate financial records in relation to Individual A.
Did not wear any/appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The Panel found Ms Smith’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a removal order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Ms Smith’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed.
Ms Smith has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
