We're running a workshop for managers and employers of social care settings who support workers to achieve their qualifications.

What we’ll cover

In this session, you'll:

  • look at the journey of workers from the start of their employment, completing their induction, supporting their registration and going on to complete the Core and Practice qualifications
  • think about the evidence that can be used to support induction and how the same evidence can be used for the Employer Assessment Route to registration
  • explore what the qualifications at levels 2 and 3 in health and social care are, their content, structure and how they're assessed
  • explain what is needed from managers and employers in supporting workers to achieve their qualifications
  • discuss induction and qualifications further with other managers and employers
  • share good practice examples of supporting workers to achieve their qualifications
  • introduce the Best practice guide for learners, employers and managers
  • network with other managers and employers, discuss challenges and share solutions.
