What we’ll cover
In this session, you'll:
- look at the journey of workers from the start of their employment, completing their induction, supporting their registration and going on to complete the Core and Practice qualifications
- think about the evidence that can be used to support induction and how the same evidence can be used for the Employer Assessment Route to registration
- explore what the qualifications at levels 2 and 3 in health and social care are, their content, structure and how they're assessed
- explain what is needed from managers and employers in supporting workers to achieve their qualifications
- discuss induction and qualifications further with other managers and employers
- share good practice examples of supporting workers to achieve their qualifications
- introduce the Best practice guide for learners, employers and managers
- network with other managers and employers, discuss challenges and share solutions.
