Employer assessment is a way for you to register with us if you don’t have the qualifications needed for your role.
Your employer can assess your understanding against a list of areas, and if they’re satisfied you can do the job, they can confirm your application to register.
When you apply to register, you’ll need to pick the person who will complete your employer assessment from a list of possible approved individuals for your employer.
We’ll email them to let them know your employer assessment is waiting to be completed in their SCWonline account.
It’s your responsibility to make sure they complete your employer assessment, so we can proceed with your application.
If there isn't an approved individual from your employer to complete your employer assessment, or if you don't believe any of the individuals on the list are suitable, you should discuss with your manager.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to complete one of the qualification options listed in the qualification framework. You have up to six years to get your qualification.
