How to get in touch with us

If you have a query, you can get in touch with us by email, via your SCWonline account or by phone. Please don’t come to our offices.

We work in a hybrid way, which means our staff often work from home and may not be in our offices. If you have a query, contact us by email or phone, and don’t come to our offices. This will help make sure your query is dealt with as quickly as possible by the most appropriate person.

Our phone lines are currently open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. At times, we experience high numbers of calls and there may be a wait before you can speak to a member of staff.

If you’re contacting us for an update about an application to join our Register, please be aware we can’t give you any updates over the phone and will email you with any updates about your application.

We’re not currently accepting card payments for fees over the phone. You can pay your fees easily through SCWonline using a credit or debit card, or by setting up a Direct Debit.

Contacting social services

We can’t answer any questions that are meant for social services. If you need to speak to social services or are concerned about someone’s well-being, you should contact your local council’s social services department or your local NHS trust or health board.

You can find the website for your local council here.

You can find NHS services near you here.

If you’re worried about someone’s welfare and it’s an emergency, contact the police.

Unacceptable behaviour

We accept that sometimes people act out of character and there are times where they struggle with communication. Our staff are trained to make allowances for this.

But if anyone displays unacceptable behaviour towards our staff, we will address it. We have a duty to protect our staff from harassment and abuse.

We expect our staff to behave respectfully and ask that you show them the same respect in return.
