Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat on 8-9 November has found the following allegations against Alisha Masters, a registered domiciliary care worker, proved

• Attended a social gathering in breach of Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020

• Falsely advised her manager that she was required to self-isolate for a period due to Covid 19 and travelled abroad for a holiday

• Was dishonest to her manager about her whereabouts during this period.

The Panel found Alisha Masters current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a removal order which means she cannot work in any regulated social care role in Wales.

Alisha Masters has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
