A Fitness to Practise Panel which met on 18–21 October 2021 found allegations of failing to report wellbeing threats from a Young Person, dishonesty and conducting an inappropriate relationship of sexual nature with a user of care and support, proved against Georgia Thomas, a registered residential child care worker.
The Panel found Georgia Thomas’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will not be able to work in a registered social care role in Wales.
Georgia Thomas has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
A copy of the panel’s full reasons are available on request.
