About the event
During this session about values-based recruitment (VBR) we’ll explore practical approaches to embedding values into your recruitment processes.
Come and join Kerry Cleary from VBR Consulting to find out how to:
- build your understanding of values-based recruitment
- define the ideal candidate
- explore approaches to attraction and advertising
- look at ways of including values in your recruitment materials and selection processes
- identify ways to involve people with lived experience
- tell us how we can help to introduce values-based recruitment into the wider adult social care sector.
Please note: Before the session, we’ll ask you to view some introductory resources about values-based recruitment so that we can maximise our time together for meaningful discussion.
The event will be attended by both adult residential care providers and children's residential services.
In addition
This is the first session in a learning programme to help you create a positive workplace culture, recruit people who share your values, and support them to stay with your organisation.
After this session, we’ll offer three online sessions at the beginning of 2027 about:
- preventing burnout
- creating psychological safety through compassionate induction
- understanding people and their needs at work.
Places are limited
Only one registered manager from each adult residential organisation can attend each session, as places are limited.
To attend this event, you must undertake recruitment as part of your role, and be able to influence or change recruitment practices.
