Come and hear from an expert panel about the Workforce Race Equality Standard and what it means for social care

| Social Care Wales

We're hosting a panel session about the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) and what it means for social care in Wales on 8 February.

The Workforce Race Equality Standard is a tool that'll help monitor the experience of people from ethnic minorities who work in health and social care in Wales.

The tool will highlight where there are differences between the experience of white, black, Asian and minority ethnic health and social care staff.

This’ll support organisations to target action to address the biggest issues and improve the experiences of the ethnic minority workforce.

We’re bringing together a panel of experts to introduce the Workforce Race Equality Standard and discuss how it can be used to drive cultural change across social care in Wales.

The event will take place from 2pm to 3pm on Thursday 8 February on Zoom.

We hope you can join us to learn more about the Workforce Race Equality Standard.
