Shwmae and welcome to our latest e-bulletin.
This month, I want to focus on celebrating the fabulous work that’s being done across social care, early years and childcare services.
Earlier this month we held the Accolades, our annual awards ceremony which celebrates a range of services, teams and individual practice.
We received 127 entries and I wanted to thank everyone who took time to submit an entry. Our panels of judges had an extremely difficult job in selecting the finalists.
You can find out more about our finalists and winners later in this bulletin.
I know the empowering and person-centred care you provide to individuals and families in all our communities, but the Accolades give us an opportunity to celebrate this more widely. They help us give confidence to citizens who perhaps aren’t using care yet in the quality of support available, as well as inspiring individuals to consider a career in care and sharing different innovations and ideas across services.
Please do consider applying in future awards. We’ll share details in the bulletin.
This month, we’re also celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Insight Collective. The website provides free access to a range of support, including evidence, digital communities and positive practice to inform your work.
If you haven’t yet used the resources, please have a look. We’re expanding the resources all the time, recognising areas you’ve told us are a priority for greater knowledge, insights or support.
Thank you for everything you do to support individuals using care and support. I hope you enjoy reading the bulletin.
