An overview of our progress against this outcome eight during 2021 to 2022.
Why it’s important?
We have a responsibility, as a Welsh public service organisation, to work in-line with the shared ambitions for One Wales Public Service. This is to maintain and build on the trust and credibility of Welsh public services through the quality of our work and governance of our business.
We’ll continue to show the transparency of our decision-making (governance) in how we work and how we spend public money in meeting our five-year plan.
Our impact
We received positive reports from Audit Wales and our internal auditors about our governance arrangements, as well as positive feedback from our sponsoring Minister and officials on our work to support the sector.
As a national leadership organisation, working with others is central to how we operate. Partnership is at the heart of our work.
We want to make sure stakeholders are involved with all our work. This will include seeking and reflecting their views before we make decisions.
We continue to use our evidence to support Welsh Government and other partners in improving systems and conditions for the social care sector. Some of these initiatives include.
- Real living Wage
- Anti-Racist Wales
- Joint workforce strategy
- Annual report on the progress of the strategy
To be an effective organisation, we continue to use feedback to challenge and shape our business, projects and strategies.
Our digital services and new ways of working will make it easier for people to interact with us.
