Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel has found the following allegations proved against Jade Fitzpatrick, a registered Residential Child Care Worker:

  • failed to maintain an appropriate professional boundary, and
  • formed an inappropriate relationship with Young Person 1(YP1) and
  • that her conduct was sexually motivated.
  • did not disclose she was subject to an ongoing investigation by Social Care Wales and subject to an interim suspension order to her new employer

The Panel found Jade Fitzpatrick’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal order which means she can no longer work in any regulated social care role within Wales

Jade Fitzpatrick has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
