A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat on 15 November 2021 has found allegations of a failure to administer correct medication to a user of care and support and a failure to report and record this in line with her employers Medication Policy proved against Judith Maloney, a registered domiciliary care worker. Allegations that she recorded the medication as correctly administered and instructed a colleague not to report the event were also found proved.
The Panel found Judith Maloney’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Judith Maloney’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed.
Judith Maloney has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
