Decision summary

A Fitness to Practise Panel that sat remotely on 22 March 2021, found the charge relating to a criminal conviction for Fraud proved against Tracy Kolade, a registered domiciliary care manager.

The Panel found the following charge proven:

Whilst registered as a Domiciliary Care Manager and employed by Hafod Care

Association Ltd as the manager of a Home:

1. On 8 September 2020, you were convicted in the Crown Court at Cardiff of

fraud, contrary to section 1 of the Fraud Act 2006, for which you were sentenced

on 15 October 2020 to 10 months imprisonment and to pay a victim surcharge

of £140.

AND your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of your conviction for a criminal

offence

The Panel found Ms Kolade’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Ms Kolade’s name has been taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed.

Ms Kolade has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
