The Institute of Public Care (IPC) at Oxford Brookes University is carrying out research on our behalf, as part of our work with the Social Care Fair Pay Forum, to understand what pay, recruitment, and retention look like within social care in Wales.
We’d like to hear from you - either through a focus groups or online survey - to help us address challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Focus groups
IPC are holding six focus groups. Please attend the one that's most relevant to you.
- Tuesday 24 February, 10am to 11.30am: Independent and voluntary sector employers
- Tuesday 24 February, 3pm to 4.30pm: Local council employers
- Wednesday 25 February, 10am to 11.30am: Local council employers
- Wednesday 25 February, 3pm to 4.30pm: Independent and voluntary sector employers:

- Thursday 26 February, 3pm to 4.30pm: Welsh language focus group for all settings.
