This is a Well-being Week 2026 event.
Poor mental health can affect anyone. Social pressures, expectations and stigma often influence how people experience and respond to mental health challenges. Research shows that men are statistically less likely to seek mental health support, which can lead to delay in support.
This three-hour interactive session will:
- explore stress and anxiety disorders and how they manifest
- consider common mental health challenges, while recognising the diversity of identities and lived experiences
- share practical strategies to cope with stress and anxiety and promote resilience.
Who is the event for?
This event is for:
- anyone working in social care or early years and childcare who’s interested in supporting men’s mental health.
