Closing date extended for 2023 Accolades’ ‘Supporting unpaid carers’ category

| Social Care Wales

Does your project, team or organisation support unpaid carers in Wales? If so, why not enter the 2023 Accolades?

We’re extending the closing date for the 2023 Accolades’ ‘Supporting unpaid carers’ category until 5pm on Wednesday, 30 November.

No matter how large or small your initiative, our judges are keen to hear from you so we can recognise, celebrate and share the great support that’s being provided to unpaid carers in Wales.

Sue Evans, our Chief Executive, said: “Unpaid carers play an invaluable part in providing care and support here in Wales and we know there are lots of teams, projects and organisations providing excellent support to them.

“We’re extending the closing date for this particular Accolades category because we want to give people a chance to showcase even the smallest initiatives they’ve employed over the last couple of years to support unpaid carers, so we can share that good practice as widely as possible.

“So if you’ve supported unpaid carers effectively, please consider sharing your efforts with others by entering the 2023 Accolades.”
