Join our new community for Responsible Individuals

| Social Care Wales

We’re launching a new community for Responsible Individuals.

A Responsible Individual is a senior representative of a social care provider who’s registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) as the person responsible for making sure the service meets regulations.

Whether you have a wealth of experience or are just starting out, our community offers a supportive environment to connect with and learn from other members.

We’ll give members access to an online platform to share their ideas, while we’ll also put on a series of events on topics that matter to the community.

Sign up now or contact charlotte.powell@socialcare.wales for more information.

Why should you join the community?

  • It’s free, and open to all Responsible Individuals in Wales.
  • You can use our online platform to share your knowledge, ideas, events and resources with other people.
  • We’ll hold regular events and meet-ups for our community members, where we'll focus on what we can learn from each other and how we can put our learning into practice.
  • You can help shape the community.

Join our first community event!

You’ll get to know other members and hear from Sarah Glynn Jones, CIW’s Head of Adult and Children’s Services Inspection, about how the regulator benchmarks its inspections.

We’re holding the event on Zoom at 2pm on 15 August.

Join the community to book your place and find out about other upcoming events.
