Residential special schools provide education and accommodation to children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Autism and co-occurring conditions, learning and physical disabilities. Residential special schools broadly provide a 24-hour curriculum to support and promote independent living through the development of appropriate social, independent, self-help and life skills. Children stay at the school between one and four school nights a week, during term time only.
Special school residential
