Our criteria for deciding which resources we highlight as part of our digital potential tool.
When you’ve completed our digital potential tool, we’ll give you information about resources that could help you develop your digital skills.
These resources have fulfilled our criteria for inclusion, but they haven’t been assessed or endorsed by Social Care Wales.
The resources should meet at least one of the following criteria.
We'll consider:
- resources provided by organisations based in Wales, or where a course location is in Wales
- resources from any further education or higher education academic institution based in Wales or with a presence in Wales (such as the Open University)
- resources from any UK Government agency, including devolved administrations (such as resources created for social care in England)
- resources offered by other .wales/.cymru organisations, as these may be organisations that are specifically set up to meet the learning needs of people working in Wales
- resources offered by developers of industry-standard tools or learning institutions.
We’ve also included some other relevant resources which meet our objectives and provide free self-directed learning.
If we’ve included a resource in the tool, it doesn’t mean that Social Care Wales has endorsed it.
We’ve tried to choose the resources carefully, and from trusted providers, to meet the needs of people working in social care in Wales.
If you’ve used one of the resources and it wasn’t of the quality you were expecting, please let us know by emailing digital@socialcare.wales.
