Adult protection and support orders (APSOs) are introduced under Part 7 of the Act concerning safeguarding. These learning materials were developed by Research in Practice for Adults and the Institute of Public Care at Oxford Brookes University, for the training of authorised officers, legal officers and other key roles to implement APSOs.
The resources, which include the authorised officer process document, training module, activities and handouts, are suitable for delivering training to new officers and refreshing the learning of existing authorised officers and legal officers or other key roles, as part of their Continuing Professional Development.
