Naming the project
is a difficult one
because it's grown over
several years. It's been a cultural change
and I'd go as far as
10 years ago before
we started this work, when we
really noticed that there were
lots of mental health issues
and physical issues
we weren't responding to.
If we hadn’t got things up and running the way we did,
we never would have done what we're doing now.
There’s something really magical for everyone here
at Antur.
There are moments where you see this,
where you see events you don't expect to see.
But good events.
We provide well-being sessions for staff,
counselling sessions,
physiotherapy sessions,
financial advice sessions,
because debt can have
a big impact.
We deal with local surgeries,
we maintain a close relationship with them,
so we work with health.
We have
a specialist counsellor
who works around trauma.
We've created a development structure.
I don't do this myself,
there's a full team from human resources,
to managers, to senior managers, to external services
who support us.
Seeing the group of boys enjoying,
we have a bit of a laugh.
Lots of laughs happen in this job.
It lifts my confidence,
and the boys' too.
Working with the boys,
and sometimes the girls.
I get a lot of support.
The staff help you out as well,
they’re brilliant.
Everyone works together here.
