0:07 For me, Polly is the glue that keeps everybody together within Seren.
0:12 And I think ultimately what an effective leader has,
0:15 which Polly has in abundance,
0:18 is her phenomenal communication skills.
0:23 So the role I do here at Seren,
0:25 I’m the Recruitment Manager.
0:26 So the role I do every day is supporting people within the care sector,
0:31 whether that is right at the beginning of their journey,
0:33 putting a job advert out, to onboarding them,
0:37 making sure we are meeting the regulations and making sure
0:42 that they are supported throughout their journey,
0:44 supporting them post-journey.
0:51 It's really nice to be recognised for the work that we've done.
0:53 And it's not just myself. I think the whole team has been behind me on
0:57 some of our projects that we've done.
0:59 But with this recent project that we've done
1:01 in supporting people into
1:05 the care sector through the Home Office migrant worker scheme
1:07 and skilled worker has been huge.
1:12 So the care sector is challenging
1:15 and it's making sure that you can have compassion
1:17 and critical thinking, good people skills,
1:20 which I think are all part of my day-to-day role,
1:24 and really be able to be there for
1:26 not just your employees, but for all stakeholders,
1:30 whether that's the service users, local authority,
1:32 and really have that support network
1:35 and have that professionalism in the workplace.
1:37 But also have that personal relationship building side as well.
1:42 She's motivational,
1:43 she's very aspirational,
1:45 such a young person with so many talents.
1:50 She's definitely one to watch in the future.
