A Fitness to Practise Panel has found an allegation of serious safeguarding concerns, including the use of force and causing physical injury to a user of care and support, proved against Ms Hornby, a registered child care worker.
The Panel found Ms Hornby’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means she will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Ms Hornby’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed from the Register.
Ms Hornby has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
