We’ve launched a new guide for employers to help their staff who are new to working in social care in Wales.
We know more and more people are moving to Wales to provide vital care and support to the people who live here. Many people in Wales rely on this care and support, and we welcome and appreciate these experienced workers.
We’ve pulled together some of our resources in one handy place on our website. Employers can use this information to help new workers settle-in. This new guide includes videos about social care in Wales, information about the Welsh language and culture, and resources to support staff wellbeing.
We’re also building a bank of best practice examples to be included in this resource. You can share your examples with us at employersupport@socialcare.wales
