Items covered at the meeting included:
- business plan progress report – The Board approved the progress we’ve made against our 2022 to 2023 business plan after nine months
- our role in the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan – The Board discussed the work we're doing towards the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan
- our draft business plan 2023 to 2024 – The Board agreed that registration fees shouldn’t be increased next year and delegated approval of the business plan to the Chair and Chief Executive
- consultation on proposed changes to the social work degree rules – The Board approved consulting on changes to the rules
- committee structures and terms of reference – The Board approved terms of reference for the Audit and Risk Committee, the Regulation and Standards Committee and Remuneration Committee. The Improvement Committee was asked to consider the terms of reference at its March meeting.

Items covered at the meeting included:
- accountability meeting – The Deputy Minister for Social Services attended for the annual accountability meeting. The Chief Social Care Officer was also present
- business plan progress report – The Board approved the progress we’ve made against our 2022 to 2023 business plan after six months
- Social Care Wales Workforce Development Programme grant circular letter – The Board discussed, suggested changes to and approved the grant circular letter for 2023 to 2024
- our impact report 2021 to 2022 – The Board discussed the report. It was agreed that the Chair and our Chief Executive would hold further conversations about how to overcome two issues that emerged during the discussion
- our annual equality report 2021 to 2022 – The Board approved the report, which highlights our approach to equality and diversity.

Items covered at the meeting included:
- business plan progress report – The Board approved the progress we’ve made against the 2022 to 2023 business plan after three months
- our draft annual report and accounts for 2021 to 2022, the audit of our accounts report and management letter – The Board approved our draft annual report and accounts, and the audit of accounts report
- annual Chair of Audit and Risk Committee assurance report – The Board approved the report, which gives an overview of the work of the Audit and Risk Committee during 2021 to 2022
- changes to our registration and fitness to practise rules – The Board approved changes to the rules for our regulatory processes
- our equal pay review report 2022 – The Board noted and discussed the report, which found no evidence of pay discrimination based on the protected characteristics in the organisation.
