What we'll cover
We’re updating our Codes of Professional Practice for social care workers and employers to make sure they’re as clear and easy to use as possible.
The Institute of Public Care (IPC) at Oxford Brookes University is helping us to improve and update the practice guidance associated with the Codes.
Building on feedback that’s already been shared, we want to make sure the new practice guidance is meaningful and useful for everyday practice. This means we want it to be:
- written clearly
- well-structured
- easy to navigate and update
- accessible.
You can help us get this right by joining our consultation events, hosted by IPC.
During the sessions you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the revised practice guidance. We’re keen to know what works best for you, and to know more about your experience of using existing practice guidance materials.
