What we'll cover

Come and hear about the services, support and resources available to you, including:

  • our ‘employer offer’ and updates from Social Care Wales
  • anti-racism in social care, with Professor Charlotte Williams OBE, FLSW who is widely recognised for her contributions to Welsh cultural and educational reform
  • e-learning modules about anti-racism and HIV. We'll highlight some of the resources we have to support employers to be anti-discriminatory
  • supporting Welsh in your workplace. We've developed a range of resources to help you learn more about the importance of Welsh language and culture, working bilingually and making the Active Offer
  • 'Your well-being matters' - Permission to prioritise yourself. This is an introduction to the idea of prioritising ourselves so we can be effective in our work roles. There will be information about sessions we offer in this area and contact details for available support for people working in social care.

You'll also have the opportunity to continue conversations with experts on the topics above and other staff, to explore how you can use the support and resources in your organisation.

Refreshments and lunch will be available.
