Webinar series: supporting children who have experienced trauma

| Social Care Wales

We’re running a series of webinars for people who work with children who have experienced trauma.

You’ll hear from experts in their field, who will explain how trauma can affect children, and give you practical tips to support them.

The webinars are for anyone who works in residential care with children who may have experienced trauma, including:

  • people who develop children's residential services
  • children’s residential managers
  • children's residential workers
  • people who support children and young people in residential setting
  • people who support the workforce in children’s residential setting.

The webinars are free and will last about 90 minutes.

Jessica Matthews-West, Improvement and Development Manager at Social Care Wales, said:

“We want to support people who provide social care to children to tackle challenges and explore ideas.

“These webinars are a great opportunity to hear best practice, and find out more about how trauma affects children in residential care.”
